Jimmy Broyden to Speak at the Film Academy on Stunt Work
This is one of the most exciting announcements for me, as I really wanted to hear Mr. Broyden speak, and also be able to meet him in person. For those of you who do not know who Jimmy is, here is an exerpt from his profile on the SAICFF website.
Jimmy Broyden has been entertaining audiences around the world for 18 years having been in over 90 features, television series, movies of the week, pilots and commercials, but you have rarely seen his face. He has worked with Jackie Chan, Harrison Ford, Will Smith, Jean Claude Van Damme, Stephen King, Will Ferrell, and Jack Black. He has Stunt Doubled for some of Hollywood’s finest actors — Aaron Eckhart, Chad Lowe, Ian Tracey, Brian Markinson, and Paul McCrane — on some of Hollywood’s leading productions and with some of the finest stunt veterans and rookies in film. He has worked on numerous shows such as Firewall, Elf, Air Bud, Battlestar Galactica, I Robot, X-Files, Star Gate, Mysterious Ways and Supernatural. Jimmy thrilled audiences by doing a 60 mph pipe roll on the Gemini Award winning TV documentary series STUNTDAWGS. He is also a member of The Hollywood Stuntmen’s Hall Of Fame and on the Board of Directors.
